  a guy turned me down for a date

  i am so bummed yesterday i called this guy i know and asked him out, and he turned me down.

  not just a polite "i'm busy" but he let me know that his relationship with someone just ended last month and he needs time to recover, he said " i am taking the rest of the year off from dating" (sounded to me like "don't bother to ask again")i didn't even know that he had been seeing someone in a serious relationship (the last time i ran into him was in early december).

  we used to have had a few classes together and he always flirted with me.

  heya hungry4life ! sorry to hear that you are down. i think everyone goes through this at some time or another. i doubt that you are the reason he doesn't want to hang out. he's probably actually not wanting to be in a relationship with ANYONE ... and even if he did, you don't want to deal with someone who just came out of a serious relationship.
  i say, keep on asking them boys out and go have some fun!

  p.s. don't feel bad about posting this here i like the whole drama bit, just go look at all the thread i make hehe.

  What's your dream job?

  i really hate my job, and want to resign.

  would really love to persue my dream job as a professional loafer, but i wonder how much it would pay?

  but seriously, though i always wanted to write novels, be creative and artistic.

  anything having to do with art would be just peachy for me ! maybe like a high school art teacher or something.
  tattooing has always been an interest of mine, and peircing recently too.
  being a clothing designer would be wicked too!

  today i was in the main office of my apartment complex.

  when i was walking out i stopped one of the workers and told him that i had lived here for over a year and never once saw a jw.

  i jokingly asked if they had some kind of strategy they used to keep them away.

  oh, i totally agree. but i think what the man did was uncalled for. christ, if i did that to every annoying person that came to my door, my yard would be flooded .

  Emily and My Daughter

  here is my granddaughter and daughter asleep on my couch.

  she says she feels so relaxed and peaceful when she's down here.

  it must be true because she fell asleep in a few minutes when she layed down on the couch with emily.

  Fornication Vs Divorce

  hi all,.

  i was reading another post earlier about wether or not to let your children bf gf sleep over and brought something to mind that i have given a great deal of thought too.

  we all know very well the stand the witnesses take on no sex before marriage, and i wonder how many marriages have ended up in divorce because of this.. how many young ones rush into marriage without really considering the commitment they are taking simply because they want to have sex, i am not saying this is always the case but we all know how strong hormones can be, and given the standpoint on divorce in the organization i wonder if given the chance to have sex before marriage wether or not this would lesson the divorce rate which i might add before i left the dubs was rising even in the organization.
